To get a better sound you could get a hole saw and cut the end plate out of your muffler, then take a pair of pliers and pull & wiggle the end plate and rear baffle out. Takes about 5 min to do. This will give you a deeper mellow sound.
You will have two baffles remaining in the muffler so the sound will not be obnoxious.
